Understand the rules for trading, your data and getting help.
1. Start with your role
If you are buying, begin with the Terms of Service. They explain account responsibilities, order agreements, inspection, the vault, disputes and the difference between a wallet release and a bank withdrawal.
If you are selling, also read the Vendor Agreement. It covers accurate listings, fulfilment, buyer information, fees and seller responsibilities. Check Pricing for the published fee explanation before committing to a sale.
2. Trading and community standards
The Community Guidelines explain respectful communication, prohibited goods and conduct, safe handover and how to report a problem. They apply to listings and conversations as well as completed transactions.
The platform’s release and dispute process does not replace consumer rights. Read the relevant order guidance before sharing a delivery PIN, preserve evidence of a problem and use the dispute guide when an order needs review.
3. Personal information and browser storage
The Privacy Policy explains the information used for accounts, orders, support and AI features, the purposes and legal grounds, sharing, retention considerations and your rights.
The Cookie Policy explains authentication storage, saved preferences, cached resources and browser controls. Clearing browser data and requesting account deletion are different actions; see account-deletion guidance for the latter.
4. Providers and specific processing arrangements
The Service Providers and Subprocessors page describes providers used for relevant features and why their legal role depends on the activity. An external payment or communication service may also have its own terms and notice.
The Data Processing Addendum addresses a specific written arrangement in which Debelu processes personal data for a controller. Ordinary marketplace use does not automatically create that arrangement. Contact legal@debelu.com about a proposed processing agreement.
5. Identity, contacts and practical requests
The Imprint gives the service identity and contact routes for general, legal, privacy, safety, security and media matters. For an order problem, Help and Contact offer a practical starting point.
Send privacy requests to privacy@debelu.com and legal notices to legal@debelu.com. Include a reference and the outcome requested; do not send secret account or payment codes.
6. Reading policies and seeking independent help
Read the relevant documents together with the information shown for your order or feature. Changes should be explained through an appropriate notice where required; a policy page does not turn unrelated optional processing into consent.
Nigerian statutory rights and independent complaint routes remain available. The FCCPC complaint portal covers consumer complaints, and the NDPC provides data-protection information. These are independent authorities rather than Debelu support channels.
